Daniel Garrett (GBPD)
GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – The man accused of firing shots that damaged two homes along Imperial Lane around 6:15 a.m. on Friday has been taken into custody.
32-year-old Daniel Garrett was found by police in downtown Green Bay on Sunday and was taken into custody without incident.
Police say Garrett fired bullets into two buildings on Friday morning and ran away when police arrived on scene. No one was hurt in the shooting. It’s unclear why Garrett targeted those buildings.
The investigation into the shooting took a dramatic turn when SWAT team officers raided the Jean Street home where Garrett was reportedly living, breaking down the front door and blocking off streets while they searched the home.
Garrett is being held in the Brown County Jail on a probation hold.
WTAQ’s Rob Sussman and Casey Nelson contributed to this report.
