GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Two teens were arrested after allegedly stealing a vehicle and crashing it into a house on Green Bay’s west side.
Police say they were called to the 1200 block of Thomas Street just before 8 a.m. Officers discovered that the SUV, which was reported stolen earlier in the morning, had hit a parked SUV before crashing into the house.
Witnesses told officers that the SUV was speeding before the crash. After the crash, two people were seen running away.
Within half an hour, police arrested a 15-year-old boy who was believed to be the driver. He had an active warrant for his arrest. They also arrested a 14-year-old boy who was believed to be the passenger. Their names were not released.
Each teen reported non-life-threatening injuries from the crash.
No one in the house reported being injured.
