GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Green Bay Packers are signing off on a holiday charity event.
Players will once again be supporting the Salvation Army this holiday season by signing autographs for fans in exchange for monetary donations.
The players will sign autographs for fans in the Lambeau Field Atrium at 5 p.m. on Mondays during the holiday season.
To help the Salvation Army reach its donation goals for 2023, fans are asked to donate a minimum of $50.
The autograph signings will kick off Nov. 27 with Kenny Clark, Elgton Jenkins, Isaiah McDuffie and Jonathan Owens.
The names of the players scheduled to participate in each signing will be announced the week prior to each event and is subject to change.
The current schedule is as follows:
Nov. 27, at 5 p.m.: Kenny Clark, Elgton Jenkins, Isaiah McDuffie, Jonathan Owens
Dec. 4, at 5 p.m.: TBA
Dec. 18, at 5 p.m.: TBA
Last year, three autograph signing events helped raise $23,833 and former Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers matched all of the donations, bringing the grand total to $47,666.
The Salvation Army’s holiday goal this year is to raise $1.4 million. It’s slightly above last year’s goal of $1.335 million because the organization says they are seeing an increase of people in need of their services.
