(LEARFIELD) – The Milwaukee Brewers lost a Sunday game in Washington, 3-2, despite a strong start by Logan Henderson.
The Nationals avoided a sweep of the three-game weekend series by winning.
Henderson gave up a pair of runs on three hits over six innings. He set down the first dozen batters.
Brewers manager Pat Murphy talked about Henderson’s start.
The Brewers managed just 4 hits against the Nationals on Sunday with 2 by Brandon Lockridge.
Murphy talked about hte team’s lack of power.
The Brewers open a series in St. Louis tonight against the Cardinals.
Chad Patrick will start for the Brewers while Kyle Leahy will get the nod for the Cardinals.

Injury updates: First baseman Andrew Vaughn returns to the Brewers tonight after recovering from hand surgery.
Outfielder Jackson Chourio’s return could be delayed. He hit a ball off his foot in a game at Class 3A Nashville Saturday.
He was supposed to be back now after completing rehab from a fracture in his left hand. His return is on hold.
Jacob Misiorowski was able to complete a schedule running workout Sunday after leaving Friday’s game with a hamstring cramp.
