12:30 a.m. – Absentee ballot counting continues in Green Bay.
An update from Green Bay City officials: roughly 28,000 of 31,000 absentee ballots have been tabulated. They’re estimating counting will continue until approximately 3:30 a.m.

11:19 p.m. – Congressman Glenn Grothman holds on to Wisconsin’s 6th Congressional District seat. He defeated challenger Jessica King. Last reports show a 61%-39% advantage.
11:15 p.m. – President Trump edges closer to Joe Biden with a win in Iowa. Reports show Trump taking the six Electoral College votes there. Reports also showing Biden taking Minnesota. That would put Biden at a 237-210 Electoral College vote advantage.
11:10 p.m. – Arizona Governor Doug Ducey is saying it is “far too early to call the election” in the state. It had previously been called in favor of Joe Biden.
11:03 p.m. – Biden tacks on another four Electoral College votes with a win in Hawaii. He leads 227-204.
10:55 p.m. – Trump takes Texas. The 38 Electoral College votes from the Lone Star State help the president draw closer in that regard to Democratic nominee Joe Biden. Biden maintains a 223-204 lead. They need 270 to win.
10:51 p.m. – Protesters are beginning to gather near the White House. We have not heard any reports of activity in Green Bay at this time.

10:48 p.m. – President Trump wins in Ohio, which is considered a major swing state. Biden still leads 223-166 in Electoral College Votes and 56,910,720 (49.8%) to 55,589,565 votes (48.6%) in the popular vote.

10:21 p.m. – Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden reportedly wins in Arizona. He currently leads Donald Trump 209-118 in Electoral College Votes.
10:15 p.m. – The 18th Wisconsin State Senate District is staying red. Incumbent Dan Feyen is reportedly leading challenger Aaron Wojciechowski 59%-41%. Wojciechowski released a statement on Facebook, reading in part: “We’re still expecting a large amount of mail-in absentee ballots to be counted. We still don’t know the full results of this election. We are closely monitoring the results and how that will affect the outcome.”
10:07 p.m. – Mike Gallagher’s campaign confirms an NBC report that the race for Wisconsin’s 8th Congressional District has been called in his favor. WTAQ News will speak with Gallagher once challenger Amanda Stuck officially concedes the race.

9:43 p.m. – The Wisconsin 6th Congressional District race is leaning towards incumbent Glenn Grothman. Grothman leads challenger Jessica King 62% to 38% with 55% of precincts reporting.
The Wisconsin 8th Congressional District race is leaning towards incumbent Mike Gallagher. Gallagher leads challenger Amanda Stuck 65% to 35% with 33% of precincts reporting.

9:32 p.m. – With 52% of precincts reporting across Wisconsin, Donald Trump leads Joe Biden 51%-48%. 735,145 votes for Trump – 687,528 for Biden. Libertarian candidate Jo Jorgensen has 1% of votes at 17,236 statewide.
9:27 p.m. – Wisconsin Senate Majority Leader Scott Fitzgerald is heading to Washington D.C. after declaring victory in Wisconsin’s 5th Congressional District race. You can read his victory statement here:

9:00 p.m. – Green Bay Mayor Eric Genrich and other city officials to update the media on the current ballot count progress in the city.
8:56 p.m. – Brown County has not reported the numbers in any precincts yet tonight. A special note on the county’s website says
“At least one municipality in this county uses multiple tabulators or a central count facility to process all absentee ballots they have received in time to be counted. This means that election results for the following municipalities, Lawrence, Scott, Allouez, Ashwaubenon, Bellevue, Hobart, Howard, Suamico, Wrightstown (V), De Pere, and Green Bay, will be uploaded to our website only after Central Count and Election Day polling results are merged and verified for each reporting unit/precinct completed, as they are received on Election Day. Summary and Canvass Reports will have a header that states “Final Unofficial Report” when 100% of election results are received and posted to our website.*
Election results for the City of Green Bay are not anticipated to be received until midnight at the earliest due to the large volume of absentee ballots still needing to be processed.
8:55 p.m. – We here at WTAQ are taking the stress of Election Night into our own hands so you don’t have to.
8:52 p.m. – Winnebago County has seen nearly 68,000 ballots cast with 77% reporting. Trump leads Biden 36,897 to 29,344.
In the 6th Congressional District race there, Glenn Grothman leads Jessica King 32,448 to 26,532.
8:44 p.m. – Some results from Outagamie County. With 36% of results reported, Trump leads Biden 24,480 to 17,743. That’s about 57%-41%.
In the 8th Congressional District race, Mike Gallagher is ahead of Amanda Stuck by more than 10,000 votes, or about 62%-36%.
In the 3rd Assembly District, Ron Tusler leads Emily Voight 6,688 to 4,944 – or about 56%-41%.
