DE PERE, WI (WTAQ- WLUK) – De Pere held its fifth-annual Art in the Park event on Sunday.
Artists, craftspeople and knitters from around the state came to show off their works.
Organizers say that the coronavirus did present some challenges for both the event and the vendors.
One of those challenges involved moving the event to the Olde School Square in Ledgeview, instead of having it at its usual location at Voyageur Park.
Stacy Schlemmer, De Pere Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors Chair, tells FOX 11…..
“We did end up our venue for the first time to a different location, because there were some restrictions put in place with the city, and we wanted to make sure that we were able to properly distance out the different vendors.”
Organizers say they had about 30 vendors this year.
