KAUKAUNA, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A girl was hit by a car while biking to school in Kaukauna Monday morning.
Principal of Park Community Charter School, Ken Kortens, says the crash happened around 7:15 a.m.
The female student was biking on a side street near the school along with her siblings.
She was conscious and alert when she was taken to the hospital.
The girl is expected to make a full recovery.
Staff members and administrators went to affected classrooms to answer student questions about the crash.
Counselors and social workers were also available.
Kindergartners through fourth graders attend Park Community Charter School.
