BELLEVUE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Fire crews were called to the 1800 block of Verlin Road for a reports of a fire.
Both Green Bay Metro Fire and Bellevue Fire Department responded around 4:30 a.m. on Saturday.
Bellevue’s Fire Department says three people are now displaced.
Crews found heavy fire in a first floor apartment. One person was in the unit at the time.
The apartment complex’s manager and another resident were able to get that person out before crews arrived.
The resident was taken to a local hospital with unknown injuries. The fire did move to a second unit but had little damage.
All residents of the complex were evacuated. Residents should be able to return to 10 of the units later today.
The cause of the fire is still being investigated.
The Bellevue Fire Department says the fire caused $50,000 in damage.
