(WTAQ-WLUK) — A motorist was arrested Saturday night in Winnebago County for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, 5th offense.
At 8:48 pm., a red Chevrolet sedan was observed having difficulty maintaining it’s lane while traveling at varying speeds.
A Wisconsin State Trooper conducted a traffic stop on the vehicle at the off-ramp to State Highway 76 on Interstate 41.
The trooper noticed signs of impairment upon approaching the vehicle. The driver refused to perform standardized sobriety tests and was arrested. A blood draw was later conducted at an area hospital.
The driver, 68, from Neenah, was booked into the Winnebago County Jail for operating a motor vehicle while intoxicated, fifth offense.
