(LEARFIELD/WNFL) – The Milwaukee Brewers will wrap up a homestand with a series against the Colorado Rockies starting this afternoon at American Family Field in Milwaukee.
With a record of 64-and-38, Milwaukee has a seven-game edge on the Cubs in the National League Central Division.
The Rockies have the worst record in the league at 41-and-63.
Lefty Shane Drohan starts the first game of the series. Drohan is 5-3 with a 3.20 ERA. In his last start, he allowed 3 runs on 5 hits over six innings against Miami.
The Rockies will counter with Tomoyuki Sugano. He is 9-4 with a 4.76 ERA. In his last outing, he allowed 3 runs on 6 hits in 6 1/3 innings against Cincinnati. Oddly, Sugano has a better ERA pitching in the thin air of Colorado (4.15) than on the road (5.32).
This afternoon’s game can be heard beginning with the pre-game show at 2:25 on 99.7 and 101.9 WNFL.
