Two players with local ties selected for USA Hockey camp

(USA HOCKEY) – The 2026 Hlinka Gretzky Cup Selection Camp will take place July 23-27, at TRIA Rink in Saint Paul, Minnesota.

Those chosen from the Hlinka Camp will play for the 2026 U.S. Under-18 Men’s Select Team during the 2026 Hlinka Gretzky Cup, August 3-8, in Edmonton, Alberta.

Two players whose name are familiar to hockey fans in northeast Wisconsin have been selected to participate.

Caleb Deanovic who  is from Fond du Lac and played last season for the Waterloo Blackhawks and Gunnar Conboy of Lakeville, Minnesota who played for the Green Bay Gamblers are both in attendance at the camp.

Conboy is a 6-4 forward while Deanovich is a 6-0 defenseman.
