(WNFL) – With high school football practice beginning in just a few weeks, here is a quick look back at last year’s WIAA state football championship game scores.
It was a pretty amazing 2 days of championship games with 5 of the 14 teams coming from northeast Wisconsin.
Division 1: Arrowhead 18, Bay Port 15
Division 2: West De Pere 28, Notre Dame 14
Division 3: Grafton 17, Reedsburg 15
Division 4: Winneconne 28, Little Chute 22
Division 5: Mayville 42, Northwestern 32
Division 6: Darlington 42, Edgar 18
Division 7: Kenosha St. Joseph Catholic 35, Cochrane-Fountain City 19
This year’s championship games will be played Thursday, Nov. 19 and Friday, Nov. 20 at Camp Randall Stadium.
In the 8-man football championship game, McDonell Central Catholic defeated Gilman 22-0 at South Wood County Stadium in Wisconsin Rapids.
The 8-man championship game will again be played this year at South Wood County Stadium with it taking place on Saturday, Nov. 14.
