KEWAUNEE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — An Oconto County man who removed a GPS device and fled to Texas while awaiting trial was sentenced to 20 years in prison for one sexual assault case.
He is still awaiting trial on a second such case.
Michael Bullock, 42, disappeared in July 2024 before a trial in Oconto County. He faces eight charges there, including two counts of repeated sexual assault of the same child. Trial is currently scheduled for June 2.
Bullock also faced charges in Kewaunee County. In that case, he was convicted of first-degree sexual assault of a child and second-degree sexual assault of a child for incidents in 2011. In court Monday, Bullock was sentenced to consecutive 10-year sentences on each count. He was also placed on extended supervision for 20 years by Judge Jeffrey Wisnicky, court records show.
After he disappeared in 2024, Bullock was spotted in a RV park by a concerned citizen in Texas who said she thought she saw his picture online.
