GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The community can ice skate for free at a number of outdoor rinks throughout Green Bay.
They just have to bring their own skates as rentals are not available.
Locations are:
- Astor
- Beaver Dam (includes a hockey rink)
- Colburn (includes a hockey rink)
- Edison (includes a hockey rink)
- Perkins
- Red Smith (includes a hockey rink)
Some warming shelters at these parks will be staffed at the following parks, during the following hours:
- Colburn: Wednesday-Friday 4-8 p.m. and Saturday-Sunday Noon-8 p.m.
- Red Smith: Friday 4-8 p.m. and Saturday-Sunday Noon-8 p.m.
Power for outdoors lights is available at the following rinks from 4 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. Some are automatic and others will need to be turned “ON” during available hours:
- Astor (Lights turn on automatically)

Lights are not available at Perkins.
