MENASHA, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A student teacher in the Menasha Joint School District is accused of inappropriate conduct with a student.
In a news release Wednesday, authorities said the school district and Menasha Police Department were made aware Tuesday of allegations of inappropriate conduct between a student teacher and a student.
A 23-year-old male has been arrested. Charges of sexual misconduct by a school staff person or volunteer have been recommended.
His name was not released.
Assisting in the investigation is the UW-Oshkosh Police Department.
“The Menasha Police Department remains committed to working closely with the Menasha Joint School District and other community partners to ensure the safety and well being of students,” the news release says.
