APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Jeffrey Proski was convicted of reduced charges for a March 6 confrontation at a Seymour home.
Proski, 34, pleaded guilty Monday to mayhem, aggravated battery, strangulation, and false imprisonment. He originally was charged with attempted homicide in the case. He was also convicted of spitting at an officer. Sentencing is April 1, court records show.
Upon entering a residence in the 100 block of South Main Street on March 6, officers located an occupant who had suffered serious injuries and requested rescue.
The victim was transported to a hospital. Proski was arrested.
