TOWN OF NASEWAUPEE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A second person was killed in a separate house fire Wednesday in the Door County town of Nasewaupee.
Sheriff’s officials say they were called to 2293 Cloverleaf Road just before 7:30 p.m. The first deputy on the scene found the house engulfed in flames. Two people had gotten out, but a third person was inside the home and was later found dead.
The two survivors were taken to the hospital.
Five fire departments were called in to put out the blaze.
The fire remains under investigation, along with a fatal fire in the early morning hours of Wednesday on Highway M.
