STURGEON BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Police in Sturgeon Bay are searching for the owner of a bag “full of money.”
According to a Facebook post Tuesday, the bag was found by a citizen and turned in at the Sturgeon Bay Police Department. Officials did not specify where the bag was found.
An officer attempted to deposit the money at the bank listed on the bank slip, but there was no account number on the slip and the teller was unaware who owned the bag belonged to.
If this money is yours, you’re asked to contact the SBPD and identify the bag, the amount of money inside of it and the name of the bank listed on the slip.
