(WTAQ-WLUK) — A woman was arrested over the weekend for allegedly driving while drunk and possessing THC.
According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, around 12:45 p.m. Sunday, a trooper observed a speeding minivan and executed a traffic stop at U.S. Highway 41 and Chicken Shack Road in Oconto County. The trooper said the driver exhibited signs of impairment and standard field sobriety tests were conducted.
Terry Akins-Saldana, 34, of Green Bay, was arrested for her first operating while intoxicated offense. Occupants under the age of 16 were inside the vehicle, authorities said. Akins-Saldana was then taken to a hospital for a blood draw and “released to a responsible party.” She is also accused of possession of THC.
