LITTLE CHUTE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The Fox Valley Metro Police Department (FVMPD) is requesting the public’s help identifying a vehicle and driver involved in an incident with a child on a bicycle.
Police say the crash happened Tuesday at the intersection of Grand Avenue and Mill Street in the village of Little Chute. It was a “slow speed impact, causing the juvenile to fall from their bicycle.” The child sustained minor injuries.
Although the driver of the vehicle stopped to check on the child’s well-being, he left the scene without notifying the FVMPD or the child’s parents. Police say they would like to speak with the owner/operator of the vehicle to complete the necessary crash documentation.
The vehicle is described as a black Mercedes Benz sedan. The driver was a white male with brown hair, believed to be in his 40s.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Officer Jack Schinke at (920) 788-7505 or email jack.schinke@fvmpd.org.
