FOND DU LAC, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Three people, including a juvenile, are in custody three weeks after a robbery at a Fond du Lac bar.
Around 8:40 p.m. June 24, the Fond du Lac Police Department was dispatched to 18 Hands Ale Haus for a reported robbery. A staff member was “thrown to the ground” and the suspects left with an undisclosed amount of cash, police said.
During the investigation, tips stemming from the sharing of social media posts containing the suspects’ pictures led FDLPD to the Manitowoc area. On July 8, with assistance from the Manitowoc Police Department and the Manitowoc County Sheriff’s Office, two Manitowoc residents were arrested.
A 26-year-old male and a 23-year-old female were held on felony probation warrants and remain in custody at the Manitowoc County Jail. Police then executed a search warrant at a Manitowoc residence and officers found evidence of the June 24 robbery.
FDLPD subsequently referred a charge of robbery with the use of force against the male and a charge of robbery (party to the crime) with the use of force against the female.
A charge of robbery (party to the crime) with the use of force was also referred against a third suspect, a 16-year-old Manitowoc juvenile.
