APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – William Nell was ordered Monday to stand trial for allegedly providing the fentanyl which killed a man in June.
Nell, 58, faces one count of first-degree reckless homicide. An arraignment is scheduled for July 18.
According to the criminal complaint, police were called to a Neenah home on June 3 for an overdose death.
Text messages on the victim’s phone had details of arranging a drug buy with Nell. They met at an Appleton convenience store on June 1 for the transaction, the complaint states.
