SHAWANO, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Jeremy Rudie was sentenced to 20 years in prison for slitting a woman’s throat during an argument in May 2020.
Rudie, 25, was also placed on extended supervision for 20 years at Friday’s hearing by Judge William Kussel, after he was convicted of attempted first-degree intentional homicide.
According to the sheriff’s department, Rudie attacked the woman he was riding with when they stopped along the road in Shawano County, stabbing her and slitting her throat.
A passerby stopped, picked up the woman and her daughter, and got them to a safe place.
