GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The operator of a now-closed furniture store was convicted of a federal drug charge Friday.
Christopher Turner pleaded guilty to three counts, including possession of fentanyl with intent to deliver. Sentencing is scheduled for July 22, court records show.
According to the charges, confidential informants arranged controlled buys of fentanyl from Turner on several occasions, including at Turner’s Furniture on College Avenue in Grand Chute.
In a related matter, Andrew Beverlin was convicted of purchasing a 9mm pistol for Turner, who was prohibited by law from owning a gun due to prior convictions. He’ll be sentenced July 15.
