PULASKI, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A Pulaski high school teacher is being recognized for his teaching methods and passion for American history.
Jeffrey Stoeberl was named the 2023-2024 Outstanding Teacher of American History by the Jean Nicolet Chapter, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution (DAR).
The Outstanding Teacher of American History Contest honors notable, full-time teachers of American history in public, private, and parochial schools, grades 5-12.
Stoeberl was selected based on his demonstrated excellence in teaching and extensive knowledge of American History. He shows a strong commitment to high standards in his students, relates history to modern life, and fosters a spirit of patriotism.
Jeffrey Stoeberl will be honored at the Wisconsin Society DAR State Conference in Green Lake in May. He will receive a cash award and gift from Jean Nicolet Chapter and a cash award and traveling trophy from the Wisconsin Society DAR.
The National Society will announce national winners in April and honor the national winner in June during the annual national meeting at DAR Headquarters in Washington, D.C.
