CRANDON, WI (WTAQ-WRN) – An early Sunday morning earthquake in northern Wisconsin.
Facebook posts on Sunday from the Crandon Fire Department and the forest County Sheriff’s Office referenced the quake near the Crandon airport.
According to the US Geological Survey, the epicenter of the 2.5 magnitude quake was 6.2 miles underground and 2.4 miles northeast of Mole Lake.
The sheriff’s office Facebook page said there had been multiple calls regarding abnormally excessive shaking and vibration but no reports of damage and no injuries.
