PULASKI, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – Pulaski High School’s music department has some exciting travel plans coming up, but first, a final tune-up before hitting the sky for California.
On Saturday, the band practiced its field show at the KI Convention Center for the Tournament of Roses’ Bandfest.
It is the school’s fourth time being selected for the Tournament of Roses events.
The students performed in over 20 events in the summer and fall to prepare.
“It’s been a hot minute since we’ve had an opportunity to get together as a full group with a field to work on, so we’re doing a lot of remembering and retracing but it’s coming along,” said Tom Busch, Pulaski High School Director of Bands.
About 330 people will be taking five flights out of three airports on the 27th. 215 students will be marching in the parade.
