Make it five in a row for the Milwaukee Bucks. Continuing a nice stretch of home games before the holiday, the Bucks defeated the San Antonio Spurs 132-119 at Fiserv Forum Tuesday night, a fifth straight win that pulls Milwaukee to within a half game of the Eastern Conference lead at 20-7. Boston dropped to 20-6 after falling in overtime to Golden State 132-126. The Spurs (4-22) were without number one overall pick Victor Wembenyama who sat out with a sore ankle. Milwaukee jumped on the young squad building a 44-26 lead after the opening quarter. Giannis Antetokounmpo put up another triple double, with just 11 points, but he pulled down 14 rebounds and dished out a career high 16 assists. The Bucks as a team had 31 assists on the night with Damian Lillard the biggest beneficiary. Lillard put up a season high 40 points in the win, becoming just the 8th active player and 51st in NBA history to crash through the 20,000 point barrier for a career. Keldon Johnson led San Antonio with 28. The Bucks will have one more at home before spending Christmas in New York as they take on the Orlando Magic at Fiserv Thursday night.
