GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The Green Bay Packers organization is preparing for its Spooktacular this Saturday.
The event will take place in the Lambeau Field Atrium. The Spooktacular will feature interactive stage entertainment, balloon animals and virtual reality with Edge VR. Children also will have the opportunity to have their faces painted, play fall-themed games, decorate cookies and put their artistic skills to work at Halloween-themed craft stations.
Packers leaders say they expect a high turnout with the cool and wet weather we’re experiencing.
“With the potential for some rain and some wind and the cooler temperatures we’re expecting a large turnout tomorrow. And we prefer around 1,500-2,000 kids and then their parents or guardians depending on how many come with them,” said Packers community outreach coordinator Amanda Wery.
The event is free to attend.
The Center for Childhood Safety will also be on hand with information on safe trick or treating and Halloween scenes will be abundant for photo opportunities.
