OSHKOSH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A man was arrested as part of an investigation in the abuse of a 2-month-old child.
The Oshkosh Fire Department was called to the 1200 block of S. Westhaven just before 4 p.m. Thursday for a report of an infant who was weak and pale.
The child was ultimately flown to Milwaukee Children’s Hospital due to significant injuries.
Just after 9 p.m. Thursday, police were notified by the Winnebago County Department of Human Services that were were injuries on the child that were consistent with child abuse.
A 39-year-old man was taken into custody. Police say the man was known to the child but did not say how.
