GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — New signage was erected Tuesday above one of the entrances to Lambeau Field.
The Bellin Health Gate was replaced by the UW Health Gate. It comes about two weeks after the Madison-based health system signed a multi-year agreement to become the Green Bay Packers’ official healthcare partner. Emplify Health by Bellin (previously known as Bellin Health) was the team’s healthcare sponsor for nearly 20 years.
UW Health will also get the sponsorship patch on the Packers’ practice jerseys. The organizations will collaborate on the Packers vs. Cancer program, and UW Health will sponsor several Packers community events, such as Packers Football Outreach programs and the Project Play 60 event. Other collaborations include youth sports programming, hospital engagement, health and wellness awareness and charitable giving to benefit American Family Children’s Hospital.
Emplify Health previously issued this statement in response to the change:
Emplify Health is grateful for our longstanding and continued relationship with the Green Bay Packers and wishes the team and UW Health nothing but the best as they embark on their new partnership. We are excited for our own new relationship with Titletown and the newly minted Emplify Health Field, which will allow us to deepen our commitment to health, well-being and community spirit for the benefit of all we serve.
