Yia Lor
APPLETON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Yia Lor, the suspect in a January murder, pleaded not guilty Thursday.
Lor, 38, allegedly killed Paul Rhoads, who was found bleeding in the middle of the road on Briarcliff Drive. He faces five counts, including first-degree intentional homicide.
No trial date was set. Lor returns to court Oct. 27 for a status conference.
According to the criminal complaint, a witness told police Rhoads had set up a drug deal, and Lor arrived in Appleton, and “Yia shot (Rhoads) shortly thereafter.”
