(WTAQ-WLUK) — A man who sexually assaulted a child on the Menominee Indian Reservation will spend more than two decades in federal prison.
Gerald Pamaska, 55, was sentenced this week to 21 1/2 years in prison.
Prosecutors say Pamaska sexually abused a 9-year-old girl in a hotel room in 2019.
The abuse was disclosed in 2022. At that time, Pamaska was in jail in Kansas. Investigators interviewed him there, where he admitted the crime.
