ASHWAUBENON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The Wisconsin EMS Association (WEMSA) is hosting its annual conference and expo in the Green Bay area this year; with approximately 900 EMS professionals expected to attend.
The event hosts multiple critical education and training days for emergency medical service professionals across Wisconsin.
Adam Robarge, the Deputy EMS Chief for Tomah Area Ambulance Services, says having his team at the conference means a lot to them.
“We have the ability to come in, learn the newest techniques, the best practices, the evidence based medicine,” said Robarge. “Which allows us to provide services to our community.”
Previously, the Wisconsin conference was held in Milwaukee, but WEMSA wanted to take advantage of the new Resch Complex.
There will be multiple tracks of education options for attendees and an exhibit hall with helicopters, ambulances, and booths.
A Student Day will be held on Friday, Feb. 3 to help kids explore the EMS field.
The Expo Pass costs $30 and is good for 3-days of the event.
Expo Hall is happening from Thursday starting at 4:30 p.m. to Saturday ending at 1:30 p.m.
