ASHWAUBENON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – The Green Bay Packers are heading across the pond today (Thursday) for the team’s big international game.
And fans are invited to see some of the players and staff fly out from Austin Straubel International Airport to London.
Plane spotters can park in the GRB Observation Lot for free or for a fee, park in the parking lot. They can then walk toward the fence to watch the Virgin Atlantic 787-900 Dreamliner take off.
Flight times are subject to change, but as of now, the plane is scheduled to arrive at GRB at 2:45 p.m. and depart with the team for London’s Heathrow Airport at 5:20 p.m.
The team is estimated to return home at midnight after the game, hopefully with a victory.
