GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – One person was taken to the hospital for evaluation after a house fire on Green Bay’s east side.
The Green Bay Metro Fire Department crews were dispatched to the home in the 500 block of Skyline Blvd at about 11:40 a.m. Saturday.
They found heavy fire coming out of the back basement windows and door upon arrival.
The fire department says there is about $200,000 worth of damage, including heavy damage to the basement and heavy smoke damage to the rest of the home.
There’s no additional word at this time on the condition of the person taken to the hospital.
Crews were on scene for about three hours. The cause of the blaze remains under investigation.
