GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — A holiday staple will return to Green Bay’s Downtown this year.
The 37th Annual Prevea Green Bay Holiday Parade will step off later this month after a year away.
“Unfortunately last year, we weren’t able to have it,” Alissa Cotter, the Events Manager for Downtown Green Bay and Old Main, said. “So this year we have just been putting all of our effort into bringing back that touch of the holiday spirit.”
Cotter says they’ve been working hard to make the return special–many of the details, however, are being kept secret.
“I don’t want to give all of the fun things away,” Cotter said. “But we may or may not have a representation from some sports teams in Milwaukee, and we also may or may not have some Grand Marshals that are of the Australian cartoon descent. That’s all I’ll say.”
The parade begins at 10 am on Saturday, November 20th. The route starts at Jefferson and Stuart, running north on Jefferson, west on Cherry and south on Washington St.
