OCONTO, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Oconto Police say that one of the men sought in a Friday morning shooting is believed to be armed and dangerous.
Authorities say Cody Krueger, 24, is wanted for attempted homicide and armed robbery.
Police say around 11:25 a.m., a 911 call was received of a person with a gunshot wound in the 2000 block of Superior Avenue.
Officers arrested a 35-year-old Oconto man and a 31-year-old Marinette woman on Friday in the area of 2nd Street.
Krueger is known to frequent the Algoma area, according to investigators. They say current information suggests he is most likely in Kewaunee or Door County and may be driving a silver or gray Honda Accord with self painted racing stripes.
Authorities say Krueger made comments about being willing to “shoot anyone trying to take away his freedom.” They also say he’s known to drive with a sawed off shot gun pointed at the driver door. They say he also made comments about suicide by cop.
Anyone who sees Krueger is asked to call 911 immediately and move to a safe place. No one should approach him.
Police also believe Krueger could be with Kyra Saldana, a 19-year-old.
Krueger is 6’4, about 200 pounds and has a variety of tattoos including a Swastika on his abdomen, “Skinhead” on his abdomen, a cross on his left calf, a skull on his left calf, barbed wire on his left hand, another Swastika on his left knee, “High Life” on his left wrist, “Forever and Always” on his right breast, “KRK” on his left forearm, and “1488” on his left wrist. Both of his ears are pierced.
