DE PERE, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – The City of De Pere is set to reopen its facilities following the decision to repeal its emergency mandate.
Facilities will reopen to the public on Monday, five days after the city’s mask order expired. The order was replaced with a health advisory from the De Pere Health Department.
The reopening of facilities comes with new year-round hours of operation. Hours for the following facilities are:
City Hall and Community Center
Monday-Thursday: 7:30 a.m.-5 p.m.
Friday: 7:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m.
Municipal Service Center
Monday-Thursday: 6:30 a.m.-4 p.m.
Friday: 6:30 a.m.-10:30 a.m.
While face masks are not required, the city’s health department recommends visitors wear them and practice social distancing.
In addition, the city is ending free garbage overflow collection as of Monday. If overflow is placed next week, it will be collected, but a warning notice will be issued. Free overflow will not be collected beginning May 17.
The city also continues to offer COVID-19 vaccinations via appointment and walk-in, with clinics taking place at the De Pere Community Center.
