GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) — The COVID-19 vaccination effort is bringing more than just people together.
Bellin Health has partnered with Prevea–one of their primary competitors–along with the Oneida Nation for a new campaign to spread information about vaccines.
“There isn’t really any space for thinking about competition when you have the common goal of a healthier community,” said Andrea Werner, Senior Vice President at Bellin Health. “Just like we’re asking people to roll up their sleeves and get vaccinated, we kind of rolled up our sleeves and worked together.”
The campaign is called the “Unity, Community, Immunity” initiative. The goal is to get vaccine information to everyone, regardless of linguistic, cultural, or economic barriers.
“The campaign has all kinds of different languages it’s not just in English,” Werner said. “You will see it in Somali, in Hmong. You’ll see it in Spanish.”
It will also feature a joint website, immunityunity.org
