NEENAH, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – A care center for seniors in the Fox Valley is launching a multi-million dollar campaign for upgrades.
Neenah’s Valley VNA Senior Care leaders announced the next phase of their $6 million project. They’re hoping to raise a little more than $3 million.
The center has been around for over 100 years. Valley VNA Senior Care President and CEO Theresa Pichelmeyer tells FOX 11 the “Caring for Generations” campaign hopes to keep the center serving the community for another 100 years.
“So what will this building project include? Additions to the residential and common areas, which include new apartments to meet increased demand, renovations to existing areas for increased visibility and safety and adapting existing spaces to change in care needs.”
The center also plans on enhancing the air filtration systems to help eliminate the spread of airbourne diseases.
Fundraising efforts will run through the end of the year. Currently, they plan on starting construction in a few months.
