GREEN BAY, WI (WTAQ) – The Wisconsin Department of Transportation has released information on a project to improve a stretch of highway on Green Bay’s east side.
The DOT is proposing work on a 4.4-mile stretch of Highway 54 between University Way and Highway 57.
The project includes resurfacing and concrete repair/overlay on the highway ramps at Wisconsin Avenue/Nicolet Drive and Bay Settlement Road. It also includes replacing culvert endwalls, beam guard and curb ramps and adding shoulder rumble strips and pavement markings.
Final plans are expected for summer 2022, with construction scheduled to begin in spring or summer 2023.
