ASHWAUBENON, WI (WTAQ) — A massive COVID-19 vaccination site is now open in the atrium of Lambeau Field.
“It’s been a challenging year for all of us,” said Packers President Mark Murphy. “The Packers and everyone here at Lambeau Field are proud to offer our atrium as a vaccination site.”

The first shots were given around 7:00 this morning. There was a steady stream of vaccine-eligible patients moving through the clinic.
Governor Tony Evers was on hand for the opening and praised the state’s vaccination efforts.
“We’ve done well,” Evers said. “We are heading in the right direction as a state. We are first in the nation in shots per capita.”
He encouraged people to keep masking up.
“The last thing we need as a state is to reinvigorate this virus,” said Evers. “We have to make sure people get the shots. It’s our strongest weapon against this pandemic.”
The Lambeau Field site will be able to vaccinate 6,000 people per week and could expand to other parts of the stadium if vaccine supply increases.
