GREENVILLE, WI (WTAQ) – Ice skating has become a bit of a challenge with the recent warm weather, but the temperatures weren’t responsible for deterioration to one Northeast Wisconsin rink.
In a Facebook post, the Greenville parks, recreation and forestry department says significant damage was done to a rink at Jennerjohn Park.
The department says someone drove on the rink Wednesday night, and after a great winter, the incident is a “frustrating way to see it end.”
At this point the town has not placed a dollar value on the damages.
Anyone who may witnessed the damage is asked to report it to the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Department at (920) 832-5000.
