OUTAGAMIE CO, WI (WTAQ) – On November 11 th , 2020 Investigators from the Sheriff’s Office completed an investigation regarding Internet Crimes Against Children.
As a result of this investigation Samuel Richard Pynenberg, age 48, a resident of the City of Kaukauna, was arrested and booked into the Outagamie County Jail.
Charges of 27 counts of Possession of Child Pornography will be sent to the Outagamie County District Attorney’s Office.
Pynenberg is a registered sex offender and was currently on extended supervision for a prior conviction of Possession of Child Pornography in 2015. He served three years in prison for that case and was serving ten years on extended supervision.
The investigation into Mr. Pynenberg is continuing.
The Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office was assisted by the Appleton Police Department Special Investigations Unit and the Wisconsin Department of Justice – Department of Criminal Investigation Forensics Unit.
