TOWN OF WINCHESTER, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — A fire burned in a marsh in Winnebago County Monday — and the smoke was so heavy it was caught on weather radar.
As of 3:15 p.m., dispatchers with the sheriff’s department said firefighters from at least seven departments were working on the blaze.
The fire, in an area off Highway MM north of Lake Winneconne, sent smoke into the air that was visible on weather radar.
