TOWN OF WAGNER, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — Possible remains and items that could be linked to a woman who has been missing for three years have bee discovered in Marinette County.
A foot search by over 110 people on Sunday located clothing items and bones that appear to be human, says the Marinette County Sheriff’s Office.
The search took place in the Town of Wagner for Jeanette Fullerton who has been missing since August 9, 2017.
Officials say that clothing and footwear that was found matches what Fullerton was last seen wearing in 2017.
The findings were about two miles from her home and roughly one half mile through woods and swamp, where recent trail camera photos were discovered of Fullerton from the morning she went missing.
Authorities say the remains will be examined to confirm if they are that of Jeanette Fullerton.
