WAUSHARA COUNTY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) – One person was killed in a two-vehicle crash near the intersection of STH 21 and 4th Avenue in Waushara County around 2:50 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
Wisconsin State Patrol says a semi-tractor trailer was traveling westbound on STH 21 and a van was traveling eastbound on STH 21.
The vehicles collided just to the west of 4th Avenue.
The 50-year-old van driver from Grand Rapids, Michigan was flown by helicopter from the scene and pronounced dead at the hospital.
The 66-year-old male semi driver and 74-year-old female passenger, both from Wausau, were uninjured.
The crash remains under investigation.
