OUTAGAMIE COUNTY, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — The Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office is investigating reports of several stolen vehicles Saturday evening.
Around 5:30 p.m., the Grand Chute Police Department reported several stolen vehicles near the Fox River Mall.
Authorities believe that the suspect was stealing vehicles for a short time and then leaving them behind, before stealing others.
The Sheriff’s Office says that the suspect is believed to have stolen vehicles in the towns of Cicero, Ellington, and Seymour.
One of the incidents also involved the suspect confronting the driver of another vehicle, and demanding her keys.
The woman driving the car abandoned her car and wasn’t harmed.
Investigators also say at least one burglary was related to the string of suspected vehicle thefts.
The investigation is ongoing.
