TOWN OF MATTESON, WI (WTAQ-WLUK) — One person was hospitalized and another arrested as a result of a stabbing Thursday night near Clintonville.
Waupaca County sheriff’s officials say the stabbing was reported around 11:10 p.m. Investigation showed a 23-year-old man stabbed a 25-year-old man in the lower abdomen. The 23-year-old also had some injuries.
Officials found the 23-year-old and arrested him.
The 25-year-old man remained in the hospital on Friday. His condition was described as stable.
Sheriff’s officials say the stabbing was an isolated incident and the public is not in danger.
The men’s names have not been released.
